Halal claim levels on Halal.Coupons — a plain reading

Six labels. None of them is a ruling. All of them beat a crescent on a window.

Independently verified means a named certificate or inspection is on file for the relevant products. Barakah Pantry’s chicken and beef SKUs are the example: HFA, dated 2026. The pudding is not invited to that sentence.

Evidence supplied means documents arrived and were read: ownership filings, ATOL numbers, toy marks, supplier letters. We have not walked the factory.

Merchant self-declared means they said it. Numo in Riyadh, Boojum’s mall post, Jawda’s factory-ethics line. Useful. Not a third-party file.

Community-reported means shoppers or a public post flagged it. Spice Route, Louzan A6, Tour4bel. Unchecked by staff.

Under review means we are looking. Unverified means we will not imply that it is halal, ethical, or Muslim-owned. Affiliate spray such as Modanisa RA243 sits here until a till report moves it.

If a merchant wants a higher label, they send evidence via List your business. A moodboard is not evidence.
